The Los Angeles Streetcar is supported by a wide range of organizations and businesses working throughout the region. In addition to the support of those listed below, in November 2012 over 70 percent of Downtown residents voted to tax properties near the planned streetcar route to help fund its construction. This kind of public-private funding partnership is unprecedented in California, and highlights the excitement and dedication behind the streetcar project.
