LET’S GET DTLA BACK ON TRACK! The mission of LA Streetcar, Inc., (LASI) is to plan, fund, develop and install a multi-phase streetcar network, integrated into the DTLA mobility ecosystem by the 2028 Olympics. Now is the time to reimagine the heart of Los Angeles: the streetcar expands the reach of the billions in investments in the LA Metro, Metrolink, LADOT DASH bus, Metro Bike Share and California High Speed Rail systems and supports the implementation of more transit-only lanes in downtown for faster bus and streetcar speeds, providing affordable local travel and regional access to housing, jobs, and services for disadvantaged communities, the significant unhoused population in DTLA, and more than 80,000 residents and the additional daytime population of more than 500,000, including employees and international visitors.
